Broadway meets Hollywood in the desert!
Since 2021, Beverly Durand and Curtis Collins have established themselves as the premier dance team in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Drawing on careers that span Broadway, film, and world stages, they now bring their signature blend of artistry, glamour, and world-class instruction to Palm Springs Ballroom — where dance comes to life in the heart of the desert.
Broadway Meets Hollywood — Now in Palm Springs
Beverly Durand and Curtis Collins are equally acclaimed as awe-inspiring dancers, visionary choreographers, and world-class teachers.
On Broadway, Beverly was featured in the original cast of Swing! as well as the debut production of Forever Tango and its subsequent World Tour. In Hollywood, Curtis can be seen in Disney’s Enchanted and was instrumental in coaching actors for the feature film Shall We Dance.
Together, they have captivated audiences around the world, sharing the stage with headliners such as Plácido Domingo and Natalie Cole in Los Angeles, Harry Connick, Jr. in Las Vegas, and performing on the Tony Awards and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City — and, for that matter, on every continent!
After two decades performing and producing at sea, including 19 world cruises for Crystal Cruises, Beverly and Curtis have brought their distinctive brand of Dance Artistry to dry land — establishing themselves since 2021 as the premier dance team in the Coachella Valley, Palm Springs, and beyond.
From their home base at Palm Springs Ballroom, they continue to teach, choreograph, and produce theatrical dance experiences that blend Broadway sophistication with Hollywood glamour. Both are award-winning competitors and specialists in virtually every partner dance imaginable — from Argentine Tango and Swing to the Ballroom, Latin, and Salsa worlds of Dancesport.
When it comes to partnering, Beverly delights in being “tossed and twirled through the air,” while Curtis has been described as “impeccably comfortable with space — like Fred Astaire.” The result is always exhilarating: drama, comedy, romance, and pure thrill.
Whether performing on the world’s stages or right here in the desert, Beverly and Curtis — the Dynamic Dance Duo — continue to inspire, entertain, and elevate the art of dance.
